Holy Day Celebration
The Redlands Baha'i Community celebrated the Birth of Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahai faith, on the 12th November 2011.
The Redlands Baha'i community joined together to celebrate the birth of Bahá'u'lláh, born on this day in 1817 in Tehran, the capital of Persia (Iran).
Baha's all over the world celebrate this day as one of the eleven Holy Days celebrated by the Baha'i world community. Devotions and reading centred on the life of Bahá'u'lláh were read, followed by a presentation of a cultural dance by the children. The children also wrote and presented a pupet show to tell the story of the birth of Bahá'u'lláh.
To complete the celebration, the community enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea presented by the host.
Photos of the afternoon are displayed on the Photo Gallery.
